Funding and Grants
Several Startup Founders and Aspiring Founders approach us with request for funding. They are at various stages and our endeavour is constantly to ensure that we are able to meet all of their needs through the programs that we run. We have been working with several angel networks, accelerators, incubators, and governmental organisations. This page will provide you details of the programs that you can get involved in and at the same time apply for all of these programs.
Funding – We have been working with entities such as the Indian Angel Network, Hyderabad Angels, Faster Capital, and 50K Ventures. We organise pitch sessions with the respective organisations to provide startups an opportunity to get across to their investors.
BioNest – We have been working with the BioNest Program to provide seed funding to bio-tech, medical technology, and medical device startups through VIT-TBI. Any startup working in these areas can raise a seed fund of upto Rs. 30 Lacs through this program.

Grants – In Addition to these funding channels there are also grants that the are available through the DST and MeitY that can be utilised for the purposes of supporting very early stage founders. There are two programs that you can take advantage of. These programs are run through VIT-TBI.
Entrepreneur-in-Residence Program – For those in the pre-founding stage, who are still figuring out the idea that they wish to work on but have have a definitive plan to startup, this program provides mentoring support while at the same time providing a grant of upto Rs. 3 Lacs. This program is administered by MeitY.
PoC Grant – For startup founders with an idea but are working on putting together Proof of Concept a grant of upto Rs. 7 Lacs is provided to cover the cost of working on the PoC. This program is administered by MeitY.
NIDHI Prayaas – This program is particularly focused on startups that are in the Hardware segment. To encourage hardware prototyping and enable the same, a grant of upto Rs. 10 Lacs is made available. In addition, the startups are guided through the process as well. This program is administered by DST.

This culture coupled with the ecosystem that is supportive of innovation would enable ideas to flourish. Good and promising ideas are taken up for further nurturing and examined for its business potential.
They have a huge network of Investors like LetsVenture, StartupXseed Ventures, Venture Garage etc through which funding could be facilitated.
